Our above ground fuel storage tanks comply with Control of Pollution Regulations, featuring a 20-year Design Life Expectancy and OFTEC OFS T200 certification. Unlike the BS799 Part 5 2010 standard, which only covers the primary tank, the OFTEC OFS T200 certification includes the bund, providing an enhanced specification.

Multi fuel versatility, fast through the pumps

For commercial truckstops / retail, the MultiServ™ system offers adaptable multi-fuel versatility in fuel storage and dispensing. It caters to various fuel types and liquids, including HVO, Derv, Gas Oil, AdBlue, Water, and Lubes and allows users to refuel up to 4 HGVs at once. This flexibility allows truckstops to manage a wide range of fuel and liquid requirements, and get vehicles through the pumps quickly.

Pay at Pump Terminals

Ease and speed of payment are crucial at commercial truckstops. To this end, our systems can include 'Pay at Pump' terminals, integrating seamless transactions directly at the point of dispensing. You can now also minimise the time spent on fuel payments with our new “Pay at Pump” terminals, facilitating quick transactions on Fuel Cards and Debit and Credit Cards. This reduces queuing times and allows for round-the-clock service.

Homebase (logistics & distribution centres)

Homebase refuelling represents a strategic and efficient approach to fuel management for organisations like supermarkets or distribution companies. By implementing an on-site refuelling station, these entities can streamline their operations and reduce dependency on external fuel sources. OTS Group delivers customised fuel storage solutions that incorporate AVI (Automatic Vehicle Identification) Fuel Management technology for precise tracking of fuel consumption.

Bunded Tank Options

Our Above Ground Fuel Storage tanks come with our patented Multiserv™ technology or can be fitted with a Gilbarco Veeder Root cabinet, or as a Container Fuel Station.

  • Fuel storage design and installation: the 21st Century fully compliant approach to fuelling vehicles.

    The MultiServ™ can refuel 4 HGVs at any time with 4 refuelling dispensers and up to four products at each point thus keeping refuelling time to a minimum, the compact version (for space restricted sites) will accommodate 2 refuelling dispensers, again with up to four products.

    The MultiServ™ design also contains the latest filtration / recirculation conditioning that ensures your product is of high quality, this has been developed and enhanced over the years to keep the unit ahead of any competition.

    • Built-in card reader or remote option

    • The outer shell can then be utilised to promote your own products.

With Multi fuel storage including Derv, Gas Oil, HVO, AdBlue, Water, Lubes etc. and an air compressor option for tyre inflating, the Multiserv™ shows great versatility.

Above Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs): The Superior Choice

At OTS, we prioritise efficient and responsible fuel storage. That's why we advocate for Above Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs). Endorsed by the Environment Agency, ASTs offer significant advantages over Underground Storage Tanks (USTs). 

ASTs can be relocated, extending their lifespan and preserving their capital value. Even at their "end of life", they retain value for repurposing or as scrap material. Typically, below ground tanks are decommissioned in situ by injecting foam. Leaving a tank in situ may affect the land value and impact on potential redevelopment. The later removal of foam-filled USTs is an expensive exercise as the foam needs to be removed and disposed of in landfill. Impact on the environment is costly.

While we have a great deal of experience designing & installing above ground fuel storage tanks for haulage, logistics & distribution, and we’re very familiar with what works and what doesn’t, we know that a cookie cutter approach won’t work. This is why each project is supervised by a dedicated installations manager who will ensure that your brief & installation is delivered on time, and on budget.

 

  • Our job is to understand exactly what you need. Our brief and site survey process considers EA compliance, Health & Safety and client concerns to help to guide you to the right fuel storage solution. From the initial brief and site survey, we produce a detailed proposal that includes CAD drawings of our suggested tank solution (including fuel management solutions for haulage) & images of recommended equipment.

  • OTS has invested in additional qualified staff and 3D CAD software to enhance our drawing capabilities, from initial site survey and client briefing, we are able to produce 3D conceptual designs that allow a clear understanding of how the fuelling facility looks and the impact on the available space. Our full “turn-key” solution includes Planning Applications as part of the design & planning process.

  • In addition to the manufacture of bunded steel tanks in our Gloucestershire factory, OTS’ full “turn-key” solution ensures that any Civil and Electrical Works required to prep the site are covered.

    All OTS tanks are designed and built to accord with the Control of Pollution Regulations which require a Design Life Expectancy of 20 years, and OFTEC OFS T200. OTS provide Conformity Certificates as standard practice.

  • We are tank delivery and installation specialists. When it’s time for installation we work hard to ensure optimal delivery and installation of the tank, pipework and associated equipment, even in some of the most challenging of environments.
